Job Summary / Role Overview
The Commercial Operations Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the technical integrity, accuracy, and commercial optimization of the online product catalogue.

Acting as the operational engine behind the Category and Commercial teams, you will oversee product onboarding, maintenance, pricing, merchandising, and offboarding processes.
This role requires a detail-oriented, commercially minded professional who thrives in fast-paced startup environments.

You will work closely with US-based stakeholders to ensure all live products are accurate, compliant with food labeling standards, and optimized for performance.
Key Responsibilities
Product Data Management & Onboarding
Execute end-to-end technical setup of new products, including accurate entry of metadata such as names, pricing, dimensions, and tags.
Manage digital shelf content, ensuring product descriptions, imagery, and information are compelling and error-free.
Validate compliance with US food labeling regulations, including allergens and nutritional disclosures.
Create and manage product bundles, merchandising updates, and discount codes.
Catalogue Maintenance & Optimization
Perform bulk updates for pricing changes, seasonal adjustments, and promotional campaigns.
Manage product offboarding (“sunset”) processes to prevent live site errors and stock inconsistencies.
Conduct routine database audits to eliminate duplicate listings, broken links, or outdated metadata.
Study pricing trends and identify opportunities to improve product performance and sales.
Commercial Support & Reporting
Maintain the Master Product Catalogue as the single source of truth across Commercial and Supply Chain teams.
Support assortment and range reviews by preparing exports and tracking New Product Development (NPD) status.
Monitor performance metrics such as Add-to-Basket rates and product views using reporting tools (e.g., Looker, Thoughtspot).
Proactively communicate discrepancies and improvements to US-based stakeholders.
Required Qualifications / What We're Looking For
Minimum 2+ years of experience managing online product catalogues in eCommerce operations.
Background in FMCG (Food & Beverage strongly preferred) .
Experience working with Western businesses (US, UK, Canada, Australia, or Europe required).
Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets , including large datasets, complex formulas, and data cleaning.
Hands-on experience with PIM software (Product Information Management) .
Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., Contentful, Shopify, WordPress or similar).
CRM experience strongly preferred.
Exceptional written English skills (5/5) and strong verbal communication ability.
High attention to detail, especially in pricing and allergen data accuracy.
Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment and take ownership of deliverables.
Preferred Skills / Nice to Have
Experience working in a startup environment.
Exposure to Amazon Marketplace or similar platforms.
Demonstrated ability to identify strategies that increase product sales performance.
Passion for Food & Beverage products and consumer goods.
Experience managing merchandising strategies and promotional campaigns.
Work Schedule
Location: Fully Remote (India)
Working Hours:
US Eastern Standard Time (EST): 07:00 – 15:00
Indian Standard Time (IST): 17:30 – 01:30
